Crackle Free Live Tv
Crackle has always been about providing free TV, removing the financial barriers that prevent us from fostering a community centered on shared entertainment and experiences. Over a two-year period, the product design team transformed the outdated platform into a modern service that rivals paid alternatives in both form and function. My task was to design the "Live Free TV" experience, shaping how viewers engage with live, free content.
The addition of Free Live TV marked a significant evolution of the product. To navigate this new feature, we needed to create a cohesive favorites and guide system. One key challenge was ensuring that Free TV and Free Live TV felt interconnected, rather than separate experiences. Another challenge was integrating Favorites more seamlessly into the overall user experience.

As the design evolves, I go through multiple iterations of a single layout. With feedback and questions from my team, initial ideas are tested and new ones are developed. Most of the time, the direction you start with isn’t where you end up. The process is guided by your team and, ultimately, by the people who will use the product.
